STATEMENT OF FAITH

Changing Destinies Ministry is a faith-based organization and as such we believe the following:

Changing Destinies Ministry’s (CDM) Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. We believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and appropriate conduct. Therefore, the Bible is our final authority for matters of belief and conduct. For purposes of our faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our President / Executive Director and the Board of Directors are CDM’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s application.

CORE VALUES

Spiritual Integrity. Spiritual integrity is an unwavering determination in the heart to do right no matter what (For we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of man - 2 Corinthians 8:21).

Dependable. Dependable means trustworthy and reliable (Trustworthy messengers refresh like snow in summer. They revive the spirit of their employer - Proverbs 25:13 ).

Humble. Humble means not proud or thinking of yourself as better than other people (The Lord mocks the proud but is gracious to the humble - Proverbs 3:34).

Compassion. Compassion means "to suffer together." It is defined as the feeling that arises when you are confronted with another's suffering and feel motivated to relieve that suffering (Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate, and humble - 1 Peter 3:8).
